Five Daily Practices for Success

by | Aug 22, 2017

Things we are ignorant about often appear simple.

As we deepen our understanding, we realize what we thought was simple is in fact quite complex.

After patiently sifting through that complexity, what was temporarily complex once again becomes simple.

This is referred to as the Two Sides to Complexity.

And a corollary of this mental model relates to wisdom about life and success: The most profound life truths are always the most commonsensical and simple.

And so…. 5 Daily Practices for Success:

Today, be brave.

Why? Because it inspires the weak.

Today, be generous.

Why? Because the world is starved for leaders who are playing a bigger game than just for themselves.

Today, get uncomfortable.

Why? Because that’s where your growth begins.

Today, choose to play a BIG game with your life.

Why? Because you’re not called here to play a small one.

Today, do something positive for somebody but do it in the knowing they could never repay you, and watch how fulfilled your life becomes.

Until next time.
